Professional CV Task 1a

Below is my current professional CV. I found this task very helpfull as not only did it help me ammend my CV, but it also made me realise how much I got out of my training from drama school and how far I've come. I think in reflection we don't always praise ourselves for what we have already achieved and are always looking towards the next "big thing"; whether it be the next audition or interview.

This task has helped me begin to appreciate this and also helped me set out what I need to do next. It inspired me to build my own personal web space using "Serif Web Plus Essentials" to promote myself (link to website included) and has given me more motivation to do whatever I can to achieve my ultimate goals in life whilst still occasionally giving myself a "tap on the back" which I think we all should from time to time.

In case of confusion my professional actors name is Eva Morgan.

  1. Hi Ceri..
looks like I'm not finding putting a c.v up on my profile as easy as you guys!
Did you just put it up as a post because i can't seem to add it into any off the 'graphic' sections of the page editor?
some help would be MUCH appreciated! x
btw..yours was an easy read! one typo was 'Bais Gymnastics' x

  2. Hi Jo thanks for your comment. All i did was copy and paste from "Microsoft Word" into where you create your post. I found this much easier than trying to work out anything else. Hope that sort of helps you.

    P.S Thanks for the typo!

  3. Hi Cheri, I like the CV, could i suggest putting dates on the performances so that you have some sort of time line, also as coming from someone who might not be as familiar with your industry as some of the other students might be you might want to put some header at the top of the tables like 'Role', 'Performance' and 'production company'. Just to make it a bit more obvious. One more thing in the accents section what does RP stand for?

  4. Hi Stephanie, thanks for your comment. On looking back over my Performers CV i think maybe dates and more headings would be a good idea, thanks. RP stands for Recieved Pronunciation.

  5. Ceri - how good to see your CV posted. You have put a lot of thought into it and succeeded in showing your skills, knowledge and experience in a concise way.
